Research progress on analysis of polysaccharides

  • Polysaccharides have many important biological activities and have become a hotresearch field in recent years. The different extraction,separation,purification and analysis methods have effect on the biological activities of polysaccharides. In this paper,the analysis methods of polysaccharides mainly including chromatography,colorimetry and titration in recent years. The extraction,separation,purification and analysis of polysaccharides,especially the principle and advances in application of various methods,were systematically introduced,in order to provide reference for the research of polysaccharides.
