Research progress in enzyme derived from Antarctic krill

  • The Antarctic krill ( Euphausia Superba Dana) is an important zooplankton which lives in Antarctic Ocean. The cold, extreme living environment in Antarctic Ocean cultivates Antarctic krill unique ability to survive. Enzyme, as an important participant of life activities, played a special role in life of livings. As a unique and highly efficient enzyme system in low temperature, enzymes derived from Antarctic krill have a wide application prospect. This article reviews the research progress of enzymes derived from Antarctic krill, and helps to promote comprehensive and deep utilization of Antarctic krill resources.
