Comparison of three detection methods of Lactoperoxidase

  • Linear relationship,detection limit capability,precision and the detection of LP in milk samples were used as impact factors to compare the three detection methods such as ABTS method,TMB method and guaiacol method.The linear range of ABTS method was 2~5.0 mg / L( R2= 0.9935).And coefficient of variation from the same group and coefficient of variation from the different group were less than 4% and 7% in the ABTS method. The linear range of TMB method was 2~ 12 mg / L( R2= 0.9897). And coefficient of variation from the same group and coefficient of variation from the different group were less than 4% and 5% in the TMB method.The linear range of guaiacol method was 8~20.0 mg / L( R2= 0.9857).And coefficient of variation from the same group and coefficient of variation from the different group were about 6% and 7% in the guaiacol method. Detection limit capability of the three methods was 0.210,0.612,1.095 mg / L,respectively.The linear relationship,detection Limit capability,precision and accuracy of ABTS method and TMB method were both superior to that of guaiacol method. So the ABTS method and TMB method was more suitable for the detection of LP in milk.
