Isolation and screening of antagonism yeast against mango Colletotrichum gloeosporioides

  • Isolation and screening of antagonism yeast against Colletotrichum gloeosporioides from peel,leaf and soil of mango fruits,and investigation of antagonistic effect of isolated yeast against C. gloeosporioides.Yeast was screened out through confront culture method and in vivo test,and identified by phenotypic and genotypic characteristics. The yeast strain T18 showed highest and most stable antagonistic effect. Results showed that inhibition zone diameter of T18 was 14.33 mm at concentration of 1.0×108cfu/m L,with strong in vivo antagonistic effect of lesion diameter of 1.58 mm. The strain T18 isolated from soil was identified by colony and cell morphology,biological and biochemical characteristics,and ITS sequence,and was identified as Debaryomyces nepalensis.
