Abstract
Four methods, including refractive method, direct drying method, decompression drying method and Karl fischer method, were used for detecting the content of dry matter in high fructose syrup, and the suitability, accuracy and recovery were discussed. The results showed that the recovery rate of dry matter content for direct drying method(105℃,16 h,adding the sand) was best, the data was 99.41%. Karl Fischer method and refractive method were 98.83%,95.95%,respectively. The linear equations for Karl Fischer method and direct drying method were y=0.991x+1.073 and y=0.947x+3.932,and the correlation coefficients were 0.9998 and0. 9999 respectively. In conclusion, Karl Fischer method and direct drying method could be effective and alternative for refraction, and decompression drying method(80℃,racuum) was unsuitable for detection dry matter content in high fructose syrup.
