Abstract

The solubility of ethyl maltol in water and mixed solvent of different ratio of 1- propyl alcohol- water was measured in the temperature ranging from 283.15 K to 313.15 K by the equilibrium method.Experimental datas were respectively simulated by the polynomial and semi- empirical activity equation. And the results showed that the semi- empirical equation was better than with polynomial equation in the range of experimental conditions.
