Advances in research of nutritive ingredients and bioactivities of camel milk

  • As one of important milk source in the desert or semi- desert areas, camel milk contain abundant lactofemin, amino acides, unsaturated fatty acid, VC, VE, Mg and other nutritive ingredients.Recent studies reveal that camel milk had anti- oxidant, anti- diaetic, immunoregulatory and hepatoprotective bioctavie effects. The nutritional ingredients of different kind camel milk, bioactivity and safety research were reviewed in this paper, aiming at providing basis for further development and utilization of camel milk.
