Research process in extraction and purification of gypenoside

  • Gypenoside was main active substance of gynostemma pentaphylla, which had great development value and potential application because of its unique function of anti-fatigue, anti-aging, anti-mutagenic, improving the immune capacity, regulation of cardiovascular and neurological improvement. In this paper, the research progress of gypenosidess was discussed from its extraction and purification. It provided good clues and evidence for further study on extraction and purification process of gypenoside.
