Research progress in molecular biology detection methods of Listeria monocytogenes

  • Listeria monocytogenes was one of the most frequent causes of death as food-borne pathogens in food. Traditional methods to detect Listeria monocytogenes are time-consuming and complex. Therefore, the high specificity, high efficiency and simple detection methods have become a research direction. This paper summarized molecular biology methods of the detection for Listeria monocytogenes and prospect the development direction of this field.
