Abstract
Objective : The protective effect of refined polysaccharide from Boletus aereus ( RPBA) on acute alcoholic hepatic injury of kidney in mice was investigated. Methods:Mice were randomly divided into blank control group, alcoholic model groups, Bifendate (150mg/kgbw) groups and RPBA (100, 200, 400mg/kg bw) groups. All mice were administered for 30d prior to the administration with dose of 50% alcohol (12mL/kg bw) except blank control group. 12h after alcohol treament, all mice were dislocation death to assay activities of antioxidant capabilities in kidney. Results:Contents of MDA in kidney revealed an obvious decrease (p<0.01) in the RPBA treament groups when compared to the model group, while the contents of GSH and the activities of SOD, CAT, GSH-Px in the kidney exhibited an obvious increase (p<0.01) . Conclusion:RPBA could protect kidney from injury induced by alcohol in mice.
