Quorum-sensing behavior of Enterococcus faecalis

To investigate the Enterococcus faecalis 4-3-2 on the diversification of the bacteriocin H antibacterial activity in a different cell density, meanwhile the result showed that it was not antibacterial activity under threshold condition of medium 1/5TPY.Indeed, based on the conditions of the normal density and threshold density, mixing into different concentations seperately (105, 106, 107, 108CFU /mL) and then adopting fermentation method, which proved that themain factor of affecting bacteriocin H antibacterial activity was because of the signaling molecules in fermentation broth.
